What to Expect

Welcome!

Church fellowship is like none other! People gathering to learn the love of God and the “tie that binds” us all in the Body of Christ as we grow in Him is a joy. Reading His love letter to us, His Word, and learning His will and way bring those created in His image to completeness, all by way of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We understand that visiting a new church can be an intimidating experience. Where do I park? How are the people? How will I be treated? What is expected of me? What about my kids? So to help you know that you are welcome, here’s some help:

Your First Time

Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no dress code. There is no pressure to give. The members and regular attenders give as God has led them.

Our music is the great hymns of the faith and songs geared to be Christ-honoring and uplifting.

The people of FBT are friendly, glad to have you here, and praying it will be a profitable time for you.

We will provide you with a helpful welcome packet and give you an opportunity to meet the pastor.

The preaching and teaching is practical and Biblical. God’s Word has much to say to our generation, giving hope and help in uncertain times and a sure salvation that was given us by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Bible Study Fellowship

Bible study classes for all ages begin at 10:00 AM and classes generally last for about 45 minutes. Each class is divided by age or grade and is led by a trained and well-qualified teacher who will provide quality Bible teaching to you.

Sunday morning service begins at 11:00 AM in the auditorium. Morning service includes Christ-honoring music, a report about one of the many missionaries we support, and a Bible-based message from the pastor. The morning service generally lasts for about 75 minutes.

Sunday Evening Service

Sunday evening service begins at 6:00 P.M. in the auditorium. Again, there is Christ-honoring music, a report about one of the many missionaries we support, and a Bible-based message from the pastor.

The message of the evening service is generally different than the message of the morning service. The evening service generally lasts for about 60 minutes.

Wednesday Bible Study & Prayer

Bible study and prayer begins at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. The Wednesday service begins with Christ-honoring music and a report about one of the many missionaries we support. Then the pastor leads a study of the Bible. Finally, prayer requests are taken and then prayed about in a group setting.

Children & Youth

We provide nursery care for infants and toddlers up to 3 years old. The nursery is staffed with well-trained ladies in our church.

We have Sunday school classes for children from Age 4 to the 6th grade and teens from 7th grade and up.

We offer King's Kids Club for children Pre-K up to the 6th grade during Sunday morning service in the Buckler Building. Children are dismissed to go to King's Kids during our morning service, but children have the option to stay with their parents.

Parking

We have a special parking area reserved for visitors, seniors, and the handicap at the front of the church. You can also find parking behind the church building.

Will You Go to Heaven?

Salvation is a free gift of God. The death of Christ on the cross is the only sufficient payment for our sins. All have sinned, but all can be saved. This salvation is available for any who puts their trust in Christ as Savior and follows Him (Romans 3:23, 6:23; John 3:16).
